04 Knowledge validation — instructor notes
Run both scored MCQ components, review applied reasoning, and close the workshop safely.
Format
Keep the assessment open-book but individual. Budget 25–30 minutes for the 15 core questions, 30–40 minutes for the 20 applied scenario questions, and 10 minutes for review.
Review
Use the inline post-submission explanations as discussion prompts. Ask learners why the plausible distractors fail under ClickHouse's physical behavior and which workload assumption would have to change before a different design became defensible.
Pass criteria
- At least 11 of 15 multiple-choice answers are correct.
- At least 16 of 20 applied scenario answers are correct.
- The learner can distinguish a query problem from a data-pipeline problem.

Confirm every learner runs
